Sophie Katsivelos is a 18 year old designer living in Manhattan New York City. She is currently a student in the Technical Theater Program at Fiorello La Guardia High School of the Preforming Arts with a focus in costumes. She has worked a variety of positions there from assistant costume designer to deck hand. She works on set design and construction both in her school and as an intern at the Kauffman Music Center's Summer Musical Theater Workshop. She has a passion for all branches of design, mostly interactive and exhibition design. She is also adept in the fine arts and has done graphic design work for local businesses in Washington Heights. She also does illustration and received an honorable mention for the Ezra Jack Keats Award. Sophie seeks to create narrative and effective work that benefits the audience. She is currently enrolled in The PRATT Institute's Digital Media major with a focus in interactive arts for the fall of 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2025.
